Oh man, I would’ve loved to see that and put the burden on the Red-noses! I didn’t know Ipswich were in the Premier League though and also just found you guys won a UEFA Cup. Sounds like the kind of team I like: History and tradition, but more suffering than enjoyment comes from supporting 😅

Yeah, we were brilliant under Bobby Robson. Probably the best team in Europe from 1979-1982. We also won the league in 1962, when Alf Ramsey (England’s 1966 manager) was our manager. - Andrés Cárdenas @leonp my childhood team is América de Cali in Colombia. Really successful in the country but kind of a joke internationally as they managed to reach 4 Libertadores (South America’s Champions League) finals, even 3 years in a row and lost every single time. And I liked Liverpool in the Xabi Alonso days but didn’t start following them until that season with Suarez and Sturridge.
