It’s been quite rewarding curating my Fediverse feed to be quiet and interesting enough to read and interact with directly from my RSS reader, even on mobile using iOS Shortcuts. I’m reading a couple of newsletters and replying to my favorite blogs/microblogs while keeping up with my friends movies and album recommendations on Letterboxd and RYM, all via RSS and Webmentions. I scratched one of my IndieWeb goals ✅

At what point does Substack also become a “traditional” social network?
Only a few years ago every social website/app wanted to be considered “traditional social media” nowadays every newly-spun silo poses as everything but… 👀
