I’ve considered scrapping the 🎧 Listens section on my website for a long time, but recently had time to go through all the notes on albums taken over the years and I think they’re consistent enough to keep expanding on. Now it’s just a matter of deciding whether to keep them unlisted or just let them show up on my main feed. 🤔

Even though my English is still far from perfect the embarrassing note archive from the Tumblr days really shows I’ve come a long way! 😅

the BLACK seminole.” is not a sequel to The Great Gig in the Sky. It is actually the kind of song Roger “the idiot” Waters wishes he could come up with nowadays.

The company just did a “Musk” laying off the whole team. My already challenging situation (being an immigrant in a country where I don’t speak the language yet) just turned even more challenging. No choice but to be up for it 💪🏽

After continuously putting in 48 hours a week since May 2019 at least I finally get to go on a forced vacation 😅

I’ve been more a fan of Shakira’s charity work than her music, but damn, that new song is an absolute banger! 🎶

It’s a sad day for me as I just found out Tom Verlaine from Television has died. The album Marquee Moon absolutely changed my life. To quote from “Prove It” which also includes my favorite guitar solo of all time:

Now the rose
How it slows
You in such colorless clothes
Fantastic! You lose your sense of human
Project
Protect
It’s warm and it’s calm and it’s perfect
It’s too “too too”
To put a finger on

Honestly there’s no a single wrong note in the whole 46 minutes of the album’s runtime. If you ever wondered how does a snake gets out of its skin, the song “Friction” has a depiction. Everyone should listen to this album at least once in their lives. Seriously.

RIP old Tom.
