@kandr3s He he, was chuckling at Hola Bluesky! in my RSS stream appearing at the same time I published a deeply serious “I’m not using Bluesky” post 😁

Using any corporatised, VC-funded social network contributes to its inevitable descent.

The beauty of Micro.blog cross-posting!

I agree with most of what you said in the post and while I get the point that feeding the “machine” with content is somehow giving value to a VC-funded product, I think that if there’s value in these short notes, it’s probably already being scrappped from the open web.

I favor the Fediverse over Bluesky, and the IndieWeb even more so (in a perfect world we’d all use Webmentions) but I signed up for 3 reasons:

This sounds interesting!

Do you think it’d be possible to follow people from this Fediverse implementation? I mean, Miniflux can do the actual fetching of posts, but it’d be nice to let people know I am following then. Or what do you think?

Do you use their android app?if you do, did you allowed phone notifications access?

No, I don’t use any of their apps or “scrobble” directly to the service. I use the website to import Last.FM data and manually check the weekly discovery playlists. But why? Is there something fishy about the permissions or something?
