I have an Instagram account exclusively for keeping in touch with family and friends back in 🇨🇴. I’d log in once or twice a month, but today I was greeted with this:

"Upload a selfie so we can verify is you" message

And now I don’t have an Instagram account 🤷🏽‍♂️

J. L. Gatewood Probably because somebody has been trying to spoof your account. Do you have 2-factor turned on?
- Andrés Cárdenas I didn’t. But I didn’t get any emails of strange logins either… A selfie away from getting the account back but having made the effort not to post selfies there I think I’m gonna just forget about it. Family and friends use WhatsApp too, so it’s not like I’ll escape Facebook anyways 🤷🏽‍♂️
